Curator's Notes 

This shampoo rack is made of hinoki cypress, a wood with wonderful properties. Hinoki is naturally resistant to moisture and mildew, so the rack can be placed directly in the shower or bath. The stainless steel rack acts as a drainage system and detaches for easy cleaning - no need to worry about the soapy residue and gunk that can build up otherwise! These thoughtful details form the character of Makoto Koizumi’s design philosophy, which makes each of his pieces a pleasure to use.
